Most people think the hard part about extension windows is choosing the right ones. It's not. The hard part is ordering them early enough.
Aluminium windows have an 8 to 12 week lead time from order to delivery. During peak season, that stretches to 16 weeks. Order too late and your build sits open to the weather for months. Rain gets in. Timber swells. Plaster can't start. Your plasterer moves to another job. One delayed window order can knock four weeks off the end of your entire project.
